Greg Dillon is being called the "Pioneer" for creating the standards for Time and Material Billing solutions for the Property Loss Industry. His first T&M bill dates back to 1989 when he responded to the devestation created by Hurricane Hugo in Charleston SC. Since then alot has changed except for his dedication and committment to the T&M process within the property loss industry. Today his company is the developer of the industy's leading Time and Material Estimating and Billing system.
Greg is a visionary leader and by employing his entrepreneurial philosophy he firmly believes that “nothing is beyond your reach”. Greg has worked in the property loss industry for over 32 years and owned his own full service restoration company that serviced residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Greg has held a broad range of management and executive positions with other companies in the property loss industry. He has been involved in successfully managing small to large companies from startups to enterprises. He was appointed to serve on the operations board of directors for one of the largest restoration firms in the United States. He was a key member of the due diligence team for operation analysis that led to a successful multi-million dollar buy out of a national restoration company by a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company. He's had the opportunity to advise private equity firms and investors that are seeking to purchase restoration companies.
Greg has managed several property loss and catastrophe related programs including hands on involvement and the development of vendor programs and pre-loss agreements for Time and Materials. He has managed several national catastrophe operations and the oversight of all Time and Material processes including but not limited to the billing department, reviews and audits. He serves as an active Time and Material expert and consultant to support restoration firms, networks, TPA's and insurance carriers.
Greg is highly respected among colleagues, customers, and professionals alike as a Time and Material expert in the Property Loss Industry.
Greg remains active in the property loss industry and has been invited to speak and hold breakout sessions related to Time and Materials at several property loss conferences throughout the US and Canada. His goals are simple and that is to create a system of standards for Time and Materials in the property loss industry. He travels the country to educate contractors, consultants, and carriers in the Time and Material processes and standards. He developed an industry approved Time and Material system that delivers Accurate, Consistent and Transparent estimates and billing packages that meet or exceed all agreements between the contractor and client. His Time and Material programs are being mandated by national restoration companies, networks, commercial carriers, and many other companies in the USA and Canada.
Today his programs are used by the Top National Restoration firms in the USA and Canada and the user list continues to grow. He stated that our list of clients is growing because we offer a powerful program designed for a specific industry. This growth is driven by a proven system that demands accountability and produces positive results that are fully transparent. The most important factor is you have a program designed by someone that understands the demands driven by the property loss industry. After years of research and other companies that attempted to develop Time and Material programs or modules that did not provide the solutions, I had no choice but to develop a T&M billing system that offered the features or functions to deliver the results to the end user. I understand that our users had a choice but they chose our T&M Billing Solutions. Today, our users are processing more T & M bills for companies nationwide that are fully detailed and transparent. When you can produce fully supported T&M Bills that meet and exceed all agreements and deliver Accurate, Consistent and Transparent results then you are in a better position of being paid for the services renedered.
In October 2011 Greg developed the industry's first Not To Exceed Estimating program. This program provides the tools and feature that allow the user the ability to create NOT TO EXCEED Values that are aligned to the agreements signed by the Contractor and their Clients.
Greg took this one step further in 2013 and developed a T&M Estimating program “T&M Estimator” that is built on the same powerful platform of our flagship program T&M Pro™. T&M Estimator™ uses the same data files that the contractor will use to bill the client. This allows the estimate to represent all pricing, terms and considerations and delivers a fully detailed estimates fully aligned to the agreements in place.
Greg is constantly researching the trends of the business and currently he has over 8 new software programs in the research and development stage.
