Our Founder Greg Dillon developed these features and today these same features are so unique that they are protected by US and International Copyright and Patent Pending Laws. Contractor Billing Solutions®, Time and Materials PLUS™, Xactibill™ and Clerk of the Works® are unlike any off the shelf accounting or billing program. Over the years and many purchases of off the Shelf programs added to his frustration of not having the right Software to bill his clients in a manner that allowed a Blended Method of Time and Materials, Cost Plus, Flat Rates.   Being an Entreprenuer he took this challenge seriously and this was the start  G & E Software Solutions.

The Goal of Starting a Software Company was to simply create a Billing Program that allowed the user to take control of how they bill their clients and not only did we reach this goal, we have exceeded all expectations. His business plan was simple; Develop programs based on real challenges that Service Companies and Contractors faced in producing a billing that would meet all the requirements of the Contract Terms with Accurate and Consistent Results.

Contractor Billing Solutions® was designed and developed to simplify the complex formats that were required to produce a Blended Method of Billing formats used by Service Related Contractors. This type of Program was not available and most were forced to create and use standard spreadsheet with simple formulas to produce their billings..

We understand the users frustrations and thats how we became a Software leader. Our programs are designed with the user in mind and offers the user to customize the program to fit their business needs. The user can change attributes, unlimited databases, client profiles, project settings and more FEATURES. The User will always have the Audit and Safeguards in place regardless of the customizations made by the user. The advantage in having a program that allows full control by the user without sacrificing features was simply not available. The development of such a program was Greg Dillon’s main priority and the challenges he faced during the development period was at times overwhelming even for the most experienced programmers. The goal was to develop a program that would be flexible, user friendly and have the ability to Accurately and Consistently bill a Blended method billing. He not only Reached this goal but exceeded it, Our Programs allow these types of billing using One or a Blended Method of Time and Materials, Time and Billing, Cost Plus, Flat Rate with defined Mark Ups and Cost plus Mark-up.
